Angel Wing Pin

Inspired by Nature

Guardian angels have been said to offer comfort, intuitive guidance and a pathway to access your higher self. Each angel wing pin has been handmade using eggshells from The Nest Box, a biodiverse family farm in San Martin, CA. This eggshell mosaic technique dates back to the old masters of 15th century Italy. I chose naturally colored eggshells, breaking and gluing them piece by piece onto a hand cut wooden base. After drying, a protective varnish is applied giving strength and shine to this one of a kind mosaic.
